I have loaded the no timing software (V3_508_NO timing)onto my Xerun 60A and there is no blinky light - what gives?
(It definitely has the no timing software loaded, in Advanced settings of the USB link, all the timing settings are grayed out which is what I would expect.)
AS Cobra said, it can be very faint, and if you have it in a difficult to view place, can be a real issue to see.

a little question :

there is a way to know if it's released a new firmware version of my esc without having to connect it to my PC ( i've got the XERUN-150A-SD ) ?

i see that the downloaded version for usb link software is from 12/06/12, is right? i use already this version...or there is a new version?

Has anyone tried increasing the cap size on a HW ESC to increase brakes?

I'm using a Justock with V3_508_NO_timing FW in a 17.5 and 13.5 TC and the brakes are horrible. 2 different motor's; 17.5 Thunder Power and the 13.5 Revtech.

I did not have this issue with a Tekin w/223 fw.

I love this ESC but it needs better braking. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes I've done it all. Tried numerous changes in drag brake and brake settings nothing has changed the feel.

If it's a V2.1 then try the following:
set your end point for throttle/brake to 95%
calibrate your speedo
set your end point back to 100%
set brakes to 100%

This should be enough hopefully, if not, please get in touch !

Can someone tell me how 2A directly effects my speed control?
Followed by setting punch 1 and punch 2 together?

Ie if I'm at 99, 30, 30 does that mean I will get full power to my motor?

Sorry for dumb questions used to a Tekin.

Hey Brent, have you tried setting the reverse force to 100% as well as the brake force. Make sure it's in FWD only mode and this should help make the brakes a little stronger.

I have not tried that, will give it a try this week.

I done this with my hobbywing xtreme stock and it gave me more braking force.
Also I can't exactly recall where it was said but someone suggested using 4 capacitors like this http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Hobbywing...item2c657041fd rather than the 2 capacitors that come with it.

Cheers
Rob.
