Hi All

Racing 10.5t for the first time this coming weekend, I will be running a HW 2.1 120a esc using 930 stock software with a speed passion mmm10.5t motor, it's going to be at the cotswolds (large asphalt) track in the uk - 150ft main straight, just wondering if anyone had a starting setup, or recommended setup they would be willing to share.

Much appreciated

Mark

I would run with very little boost if any this weekend as its gunna be very wet.
Gear it high with no boost it will be easier to drive in the wet. Add turgo for the straight if you need.

Just checked xcweather James and there's only a small chance of rain in the afternoon on Sunday

Has anybody had a large chunk of experience with the v3 ESC in offroad use yet? Would love to hear thoughts from an offroad perspective on how much the differences are noticed.

Hi Mark,

Try this...

FDR - 6.9 - 7.1
DDRS - 9
Boost - 40°
Boost Start - 7000rpm
Boost ACCL - 400rpm/°
Turbo - 24°
Turbo Ramp - 18°/0.1s
Delay - 0.2s

Then set the brakes up how you like, usually 5-10% drag brake, with 100% overall brake.
If you need more punch, lower the start RPM, or shorten the Boost ACCL. It'll be quick, trust me.

HiH

Bloomin heck it even sounds fast just looking at the settings!! I think i need to grow a pair, i was thinking along the lines of;

FDR - 5.7
DDRS - 9
Boost - 32°
Boost Start - 4000rpm
Boost ACCL - 600rpm/°
Turbo - 12°
Turbo Ramp - 18°/0.1s
Delay - 0.4s

CHeers for the help though, much appreciated!

Crank it up and be done with it...

(but I accept no responsibility if the magic smoke makes a bolt for it!)
