Alot of the other brands like intellec ,he energy, pro amps, orion and so on had a voltage drop on first load but then levelled off and were linear for a period longer than 8 minutes before they dumped but the turnigy drop 2 minutes after its start up load .

so please try another lipo brand and you will see the difference dont forget 5.5T do demand lots of current and a stable current and voltage drop .

let me know how you go

Would i be ok for 13/17.5?

I think start rpm and motor timing have a cross over effect on this speedy. If running no motor timing a low start rpm is crucial. Vice versa with motor timing. I spent 10 runs with a brand new express motor sports duo2 17.5 at zero timing with all sorts of boost, start rpm, FDR and turbo configurations and instantly went faster with max boost, low turbo higher start and some motor timing. It was not for lack of trying as I was hesitant to add timing to my new gun motor!

If you've got an old motor you dont want anymore you can test this by turning turbo off, put boost on setting 6, 15 degrees and loosen up the end bell. Run full throttle and play with the end bell and you will see what I mean. Not enough timing is slow too much timing is sluggish and just right is just right. This method does put the motor on edge but is needed if you are serious about going fast. For example I blew a duo 1 17.5 going from 4 turbo to 5 when I was running middle hole timing. The pitfall of being fast!

Hi all,
I have a XeRun 60A V2.1 in my Yokomo Bmax4 together with a Ballistic 7.5 with a roll out of 9.0.
Speedo and lipo are around 40°C and motor at 62°C after a 8 - 10 min run on an Astroturf track.
Software is V1.10_091218a_t which I think is an old version (version 27).
Punch is at 5 and timing at max.
I would like to have some more top end on the straight, smoother acceleration (more lineair) out of the corner, better brakes and cooler temperatures of the motor.
Which software version is advised?
Probably a lot to ask for but it is not really clear which are the best softwares per application.
Thanks in advance.
PS: I also posted the same question in the XeRun 2.0 thread, but it looks like this tread is more busy!

You have the original software on you speedy and need to update to the newest version. Find Cherry Blosts video earlier in the thread and folow this to update yokur speed controller and update box.

Your temps are fine. If you want to run very conservative setttings you could try the 518 stock software but 528 mod would be your best option as you are running under a 10.5 turn which is the lowest wind recommended for the stock software.

If you want to run the stock software(518) turn turbo off and start at boost setting 5 and go from there.

I have got a brushless motor which have insane strong magnet, almost impossible to turn by hand without pinion.

Was it possible to include push in the software? I am really fearing the magnet is too strong a brake the car too much.
