You need the advance LCD box to update the firmware + the LED box to change the settings. Is that right? Couldn't you just use the advance LCD box for everything?

Thanks!
If you update the LCD box as well, you can use the LCD box for both.

Now you can use the LCD box to update and setting up all the esc's parameters. No need to use the LED box anymore to set it up.

On earlier beta software that was the case where you had to use the led programmer and not the LCD and PC interface..
The new 422 software you can use all features on the lcd programmer and the pc interface.

So i finnaly got my LCD box. Ill be testing out this new firmware on my GT2LPF SPeedpassions

Question. I have the new HW SOFTWARE on my pc now. The drop down only shows 420.. How do i get previous firmwares? And how to get them to show up in the drop down box? As it is i have 2 HW softwares on my pc one shows 420 and the other 225. Is there not a way to have all the firmwares usable within one program?

start with the factory defualt settings and make changes from there.
Also read the guidelines/tips document as it has suggestions for 17.5, 13.5 and 10.5

Hi,

how exactly did you get the hobbywing software on a speedpassion GT2.0LPF ESC?

with the optional Hobbywing "2 in 1 box (LCD)" or the optional speedpassion "LCD Program unit"? Or can both be used?

Thanks!

Koen

Im going to be getting my xerun 120amp esc very soon and going to be running it with a tekin 17.5 motor. my LCD box says 1.05 which ive been told is actually the 1.61 version but it just says 1.05. Is this correct?

What would be a good starting point for the speedy setting on a medium size track with a few straights? Just a rough starting point would be great for timing on esc, timing on motor, boost, end RPM etc...

Thanks for any help or advise.

I upgraded my speedpassion LCD to the latest software and then installed the 422 to the car and all works well.

im not an LCD box expert but this is what i have learned on and off the record

-LCD box are the same and will do the same job. (hardware versions are different but the desktop software will update the box)
-Desktop software from Speed passion works on the Hobbywing box
-Desktop software from the Hobbywing works on the Hobbywing box
-I have been able to flash firmware on my SP GT2.0LPF ESC's using the hobbywing box and Hobbywing software.
