I always do RPM start 3,000-4,000rpm which makes ramp smooth
Timing Punch - try -3 or -4 which is a long ramp for a 17.5 for smooth acceleration)
Turbo - Max
Turbo delay 0.2
DDRS 7
max maximum torque wouldbe greater when using rpm log and rpm start custom.
Maybe cobra had an answear from michael.

All it does is stop any kind of surge coming in later. THe timing coming in straight away is much lower, therefore less agressive. Working out the figures, my rev range is around 3,000 - 23,000rpm. A very smooth powerband. Much easier to drive on an indoor technical circuit. The GM and Tekin drivers would know this very well.

How about the good old EZrun.
I’ve had these(v1.1 60 +35 amp and v2 60amp)since they came out. The v2 is suppose to be USB supported, but there hasn’t been anything
for these to upgrade to,. Iv'e been waiting for years
So the only difference between v1.1 and v2 is that with the v2 is that you can see what # the software is and DRRS goes to 9 instead of 4.
Did HW give up on these? Or does the "USB Supported" on the on the side of the speedo stand for "You Sorry B#stard"
Absolutely no responce from Hobbywing so I thought I'd try here. There must be thousands of these and the re-branded ones out there.
Thanks for your time

Even though HW does design the software and hardware for Sp and others it doesn't mean that HW endorses it to be fine to run in the HW equipment.

Like i have said in the past HW will design software and hardware to the oem customers requirements example specifications the oem customer is paying the money and is the boss but that in no means relates to any Hobbywing branded products .we can only give advice to the oem customer and thats as far as it goes but they make the final decision so if they want it to be super fast and run on the edge well then thats what they get no guaranteeing it will last .

Can't you see that some software branded sp and others dont really work on hobbywing equipment

Hobbywing will also release recommended motors for use with there esc's which will inlcude hobbywing motors and other brands .

We are building our name not only to be the most reliable and easy to use esc's but also the most competative in pricing and track performance.

We are also going to make changes to our lcd information to match the written manual and setup sheets from 1 -15 so there is not more confusion for the pro guy and the beginner .

thanks for your time guys

"2.11 The ESC is USB supported. The firmware of the ESC can be updated through an USB adapter on the Advanced LCD Program Box (Optional device)."
http://www.hobbywing.com/english/Art...?ArticleID=419

This has been listed on the Hobbywing web site for the V2 ezrun since it day one.

A while back you asked what would Hobbywing supporters want to see from Hobbywing in way of products and features. well this is one of mine.

Firmware to smooth out the throttle curve on this great little speedo.
Thanks for your time
Joe

By now the new firmware "100422stock" is ONLY suitable for XERUN-120A and XERUN-60A ESC (Version 2.0 and later). we have no plan to let EZRUN series products compatible with this firmware.

The reason is: XERUN series is Hobbywing high end product line while EZRUN is a budget-friendly product line. Normally, we will firstly apply the latest new technology to our high-end products.

But we do need to research the market day and day, so our R&D plan is also changed according to the market requirements.
