Just wanted to say what a great job Hobbywing has done with the new software and hardware. For the last couple of meetings ive ran the new 120 V3.1 and ive got to say its the best ESC ive ever ran (and ive ran a fair few) I run 13.5 boosted and the car has great infield control ,great speed down the straight, good brakes and more than enough adjustability. Running on medium size indoor tracks at the moment and temps are around 35 degrees C which is amazing. Looking forward to testing it on the larger out door tracks.

Hi I am running a 13.5 xerun motor with the extreme stock esc in a xray t3, any advice you could give on gearing and esc setup. The track is a medium technical track with a good straight at wrexham uk.

What major changes are going to be made from the current 17.5 v10 to the updated one? I always felt like the motor lacked torque.

Hello, just a question.
The xerun manual says about throttle range calibration to set the Reverse in the throttle channel.
I have a Futaba 3pm and the reverse is "OFF", and in these conditions I did the range setting. Now the motor runs in the correct direction, so I don't understand why the manual says to use the reverse.
Do I have to change to "reverse on" and do again the calibration?
In this way the motor will run in the contrary direction or not ?
I don't understand, so I have the doubt to do something wrong even if the motor runs good.

5C Full TH Delay 0.1s
5D TT Start RPM 20000
5E TT ENG Slope 15deg/0.1s

I use these settings for Medium to Large sized carpet tracks running on sorex rubber tyres. If the track is a medium size I gear to 6.65 (Xray 24t pinion and 84 spur 48dp) and on larger tracks 5.91 (Xray 27t pinion and 84 spur 48dp) if the track is larger enough I would up the boost and turbo and keep an eye on motor temps.

Hello
I'm trying the first upgrade of my new v2.1, I want to try a supercharged stock firmware.
I have the program box, updated to the last firmware 1.08.xxxx and out of the box my esc come with firmware 1.10_09025_mod that of course doesn't have boost or turbo. The firmware available with the last usb link software are:
v3.0_110930 mod
v1.10_090205 mod
v3_508 no timing
v1_508_zero_rev
v3.0_110930 stock
v1.10_090323a_m

I don't know what to use, Angelo suggested me the firmware 517 but I don't have it in list, so ... ?

If you are running a stock motor and want boost and turbo then use v3.0_110930 stock

A couple of times today running the newer 1SV3.1 one cell HW speedo, the car slow down like it sensed a low voltage. The power button light looked like it was flashing green or green yellow. Turned off speedo and turned back on and it went away. I had the low voltage disabled. Next run I turned low voltage back to auto and this problem didn't happen the next run. I checked battery after charging and it read near 4.2 or normal after charging. I also can't find in manual what this flashing light indicates.
Has anybody else had this happen. Only third weekend with speedo and second weekend on new 1 cell lipo
Thanks
