I've tested two ESCs with 3 different motors and 2 different sensor wires and at about half throttle the red and green lights flash, which I believe means a sensor error. All three motors and sensor wires work fine in sensor mode on a RX8 and MMP.
The motors I've tested are Hobbywing 2000kv, Tekin 1900kv and Tekin 2250kv
Lipo used for testing, 4S 5000mah 40C
That can be a sensor error or a drop in bec voltage. When you reach half throttle does the rpm drop ? Like a delay then kicks in again?

Thanks for your reply, its greatly appreciated!!
It depends on the esc settings used. If I use the default esc settings the throttle reacts as it should, seamless without lag or rpm drop. If I use lower timing and or lower punch it will lag. For example, if the timing and punch are set lower than default there is a lag to the rpm. As the throttle approches around half throttle it will jump in rmp as it kicks out of sensor mode.
Also, please keep in mind, I've tested these ESCs with and withhout an external CC 10A BEC without change to this sensor error.

i would love to see a increase in the throttle adjustments higher then 30 also a setting for roll in blinky i had another brand speed control i tested that had frequency adjust and had so much rip in the infield compared to the v3 i ended up programing the v3 with 100 epa and raising it to 120 after and it has much more rip off the corners but those changes would make a big difference

We will look into it but i make no promises as to increase the punch point levels will also mean higher c rated batterys and that were our headache will start with uses having issues.

hi ... I want to know if I would have the benefits of replacing the pair of external capacitors on my v3 with a capacitor of 4700 uF and 10V or if it is simply a feasible operation that does not involve malfunction or breakage. Thanks for the reply.

Hi,

Any recommendations on setup for the v3 speedo paired with a thunder power 13.5T? Running boost class.

I am currently using an ORCA 13.5 with:

Boost timing: 40 degrees
start rpm: 2000
end rpm: 13000
slope: linear
controlled by: throttle

Turbo: 28 degrees
Start rpm: 14000
Engage slope: 28 (i think)
Disengage slope: 24
Activation: full throttle

your combined boost and turbo is more than the speedo offers (64 max)
2000 rpm seems very low for a 13.5
13000 rpm seems low to end at, but the range is ok (11k rpm)

try bringing them both up something like 5k to 16k for example.

Default Endbell with timing adjust, for Hobbywing motors.

Endbell with timing adjust, for Hobbywing motors, +15 deg, more RPM (+10.000), more power, best use for NO timing class
