We've had V3's running in 12th scale, supastox, touring car (many classes) and buggies, no brake issues in any of them !

I to have found the brakes weak on the V3 when running 13.5 boosted in my touring car. They seem to be weakest when using full boost/turbo and having to brake hard like at the end of the straight. At low speeds the brakes are pretty good

Full brakes
20/20 on brake punch
30/30 on throttle punch
40 boost 25 turbo
Boosted 17.5T motor
Linear throttle and brake curve

Its losing out to the Orcas LRP and Vipers in the brake at end of straight and a 180 curve right after where u have to brake hard and turn. Yes I let the better drivers try too

As daft as it sounds, but you could be having too much brake, in that when you hit them, you are simply locking up. Try dropping the brake EPA on the radio.
Also make sure you've re-calibrated the esc too.

That's well spotted, especially if there is no traction!

Hi Guys, I'm struggling to locate the 508 blinky firmware. I've just downloaded the latest v3 link software and I can only find the v1.1_120511 beta and v1.1_120504 firmware in the upgrade options.

I have the v3 speedo and I've been using 511 all year in 10.5 boosted.

Am I being an idiot here?

Thanks

Install v1.1_120511 beta ... then choose profile 2 in the settings.

Done.
