Default same esc - different default settings

Hi All,

I have just noticed that my car has a different default setting to my mates - even after re-updating the firmware to V2.0_100518STOCK.

Is this normal ? Does the ESC sense settings ?

When driving mod-profile with a 13,5T (made a download mistake ) I had everything at "full" and "hot"... After 8 min motor was 70 degC.
When driving the same motor, same ratio, same settings in the speedo BUT stock-profile. The motor was 100degC after 1 minute and got awesomly fast

I don't know the exact value differences.

Thank you for that. Now to find out what those value differences are? I believe setting #9 is effected.
Does anyone have this info?

I have a Xerun 120A V2.0 and I still don't see 528MOD that everyone keeps talking about. I know people said Xeruns are supposed to support it but I don't see it on mine.

I just downloaded the lastest software from the Hobbywing website and this is what it shows when connected to my ESC. I even tried the software Team Cobra Racing sent me and it still doesn't show 528mod. I have been running 518stock with my 5.5T motor and I don't want to kill it

same as the 120A v2.1 but it supports only 1-2s and has the double bec, you don't need a rx pack with 1s. Pretty nobrainer to choose the 1s version for racers.

I am thinking about getting the Xtreme Stock ESC and the Xerun 13.5t motor for my tb03. I am not racing at this stage so ultimate pace isn't an issue for me, but I would like something reasonable and reliable.

My question is re the Xerun 13.5t motor, is it an okay choice or should I get something else? Also is there a new model on the way?

Many thanks,

David.

When will you be open for buisness? My 1/12 season has started here and I really don't want to have to buy an ESC now then another when they finally become available. Can you give me a date at which I could buy one?

Default Xtreme Stock

Well I received my second Xtreme stock, having sold on the first one.....

Unit is very small and very light, mounting should be a breeze. Looks considerably better without the Fan but obviously fan should 'really' be used.

Negative points..... Unit comes as a kit with no wires soldered, no power cap soldered and the power cap comes without shrinkwrap. The supplied 12AWG wire is a little too big to sit comfortably in the solder cups on the speedo so will be soldering it with 14AWG which looks to be the easiest wire to use.

Will post some pictures when I get a chance and will show it installed too. Hope to run it on Thursday and Friday at Maritime and at Wodson Park, will start with existing settings as the software is the same anyway.
