Can understand how you feel, there's been a few documented cases of where people have been ripped off with non genuine items.

Other side of the coin though, I recently got a Hobbywing Xteme stock combo from an on line seller, it arrived 4 days later, was genuine and it surpassed my expectations that I will recommend it to others.

I was lucky I came across this thread which made setting it up for blinky racing that much easier.

Cheers
Rob.

Usually fakes aren't 1s but the xerun 120A and less the 60A.

His rating is quite good, maybe you could ask him to send you picture of the product itself

Id aggree if i could find an extra $50 and justify it>>
this looks genuine but a photo in the box with it anti counttefiet code sticker should seal the deal
alternativelly i bought my one from http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Hobbywing...item23188e5175
For some reason blacks are cheaper and i must say the supplier a little bit slow in delivery but that was before xmas.but i got the real deal and im happy with its performance
ask rob or of oline for further info

There are still some product in circulation that is genuine but does not have the counterfeit sticker. It was introduced in december or january.

So if the product is older than that it might be real but without sticker. All boxes also have the production month on them so its easy to see. This sticker was introduced over 1 year ago.

So there might be a very old product with no production date and no counterfeit sticker. But they will have the warranty card and serial number inside the box.

Hi there

Just wondering if anyone can recommend some settings for running boosted 10.5 with the 930 stock software on a big, 150ft straight - Cotswolds uk, asphalt track either with a mmm10.5 or a gm10.5

Thanks

Mark

The V3 is the new standard by which all other ESCs will be judged. It's stunning.

I got one with the typo on the case!

I was all set to get one but have been having second thoughts as Orca just came out with their new vx controller. So now I am torn. How smooth is the V3? I really like the orca's drive frequency control, but all the new options on the v3 are awesome, just not sure that I would actually use them.

The ORCA looks pretty nice too. The plastic case doesn't thrill me, and I can't tell from the picture if it's got solder holes or tabs since it's been airbrushed out.

Does it have a switch on a dongle? Does it have fan pins that run at battery voltage? These are things that matter to me, I assume the features and feel of a top end ESC will be similar.

Cash in hand but neither the Canadian rep or USA rep reply to emails.
I'd buy from CRC but I'm looking to get one of your motors at the same time.

Help.

I'm about to buy an Xerun 60a with 10.5 motors package. Is a capacitor come with it or is it even required?

It should come with it, even if you buy the esc by itself it will come with the capacitors. Not sure how many come with the 60A but I got the capacitor board with 2 of them on it with my Xtreme stock 60A.

Cheers
Rob.

Its a great speedy, very smooth and has lots of power. Runs very well in mod and the stock classes. Easily setup like the other hobbywing speedies. Its well worth the extra money.
