Settings depend on how throttle heavy you are, and ofcourse your driving skills.
As punch I would start with 3 to 5.
Also start with a roll-out / FDR as suggested by LRP.

a lot of driver think the X12's need to scream, they are wrong, they have a lot of torque, and you need to gear them on the heavy side, when using 101224.
I think You will be surprised about the amount of punch you will have!
Because the amount of timing build in the motor itself, you also don't have to give to much timing with the ESC, also there people go wrong...
Only with 1S lipo 12th scale I give the full amount of 46 points of timing, devided in 34 Boost and 12 turbo, 450 acc, 1.5 slope, punch 9...

That should be oke I think.
I keep all FW release in seperate folders on my PC in the program files. I just made 1 folder called "Hobbywing" and extract the seperate software releases in there.

Yes!

Cheers,

Martin

I hope not, because I run the 4 dot, but if you do, maybe I was drunk when writing it...

Im interested to know what the difference between 119 and 211 is?

I tried both and I stuck with 119 - seemed a little quicker.

Does anyone know the technical differences between the two? and why the later release seems a little "softer"?

Actually, it's:
4 dots / -10 degree end bell /27.5 degree in reality
3 dots / -5 degree end bell / 32.5 degree in reality
2 dots / 0 degree end bell / 37.5 degree in reality
1 dot / +5 degree end bell / 42.5 degree in reality
0 dots / +10 degree end bell / 47.5 degree in reality

Default New to the HW stuff.

Hi guys, I am new to the Xtreme Stock esc.
Downloaded the HW software on a netbook so I can take it with me to the track.
Question is are the programs inside it or I have to download it somewhere? My idea is to run 4.5/10.5 and 17.5 motors. I know for the 4.5 on the website says I can just change the program.
Another question that came is if I get a Xerun 120 can I also use the stock program on it?

The builtin booster of my 1s 120A Hobbywing V2

And I sent the email to cs@hobbywing.com as per their website's instructions.

I'm going to try by a different account as I'm wondering if my work account is not working.

That's right as M7H mentionned, using 2 dots which in theory is the std insert but on 10.5t motor it is the 4 dots that comes on (-10)

We run these at our club with Tekin RS mainly, so when I run my second chassis with my HW 120A I run the same 2 dots insert and set the speedo's timing (with 224) good speed and low heat so far.

Next year we are moving to 0 timing in 10.5t, I have to set the speedo for this now.

The new v3 software is even more amazing than the hardware. Too many things need to test.

Angelo, thanks for your great support to hobbywing users.
