i went back 10 or so pages but can seem to find any set ups for 17.5 BL to run in what we call SuperStock its a 17.5 class that Boost and Turbo are allowed...

Any suggestions for a good starting point or are the default settings a good start?

thx in advance
With a 17.5 you will be able to turn it up to pretty hot settings just play with the gearing starting at about 7. I take it, it comes with the latest 211 software?

Default Extreme 60A. 10.5 or 13.5?

Whilst im on does anyone have any opinions on whether these are better with 10.5 or 13.5 in 1/10 TC?
I see on Giantcod they are quoting only 13.5 and above. We are running 10.5 but i wouldnt say, as others have done, that its as quick as the Tekin RS on a 13.5.

I just got a new 120amp hobbywing esc. When I apply throttle on the bench, even light throttle, the fan slows down, usually to a stop.

Does anyone else get this?

Did you use a fully charged battery when bench testing?

I am pretty sure it doesn't do it with my other one though. I will have to double check.

Thanks to all of you on here with the advice.

Just got my 3rd EZRUN combo but I think it might be fake, had it a month or so but have been reading on here that there are a lot of fakes about.

Mine hasn't got a shiney hologramme sticker on the warrenty card.

Ordered Lipos now and waiting for them to arrive.

a 10.5 should be quicker than a 13.5, it is down to settings, gearing, motor, track size.
At Ipswich there is little difference between tekin and Hw, in fact some who had been running Tekin have switched to the HW as it is more user friendly.

In fact on our track which is quite technical a 21.5 is almost as fast as 13.5! It is all about having useable/controllable power not just outright speed

FAKES?

You mean one of those lousy Made-in-China knockoffs? Oh wait... Hobby wing IS designed and made in China... That means the knockoffs come from... erm... the USA?
