Afternoon all!

Just got my Xtreme Stock soldered up and stuck in the chassis. I'm running a 10.5 SP V3 motor. I'm just wondering if i should download HW or SP software? and which software version?

Thanks.

Run the HW software. Download the latest FW from the hobbywing site, it should have FW 211.

3.8 was recommended to me by someone there. Perhaps they don't know I want to run boost class. Can check again, hadn't bought gearing. The straight Iis about 6 car lengths.

edit: I was corrected on the ratio, he thought I was running no boost. So how's 6.8 with boost with Duo 3.

i don't run a duo but sounds about right just monitor temps. sounds like someone from your track runs the same setup maybe ask them?

Default HW 120A Esc + 3.5T-4.0T

Hello,

i need some advice for up coming race in modified class.
Lately i run super stock 10.5T class so i don't follow modified.
I have seen guys are running 4-5T motors.
I have two speedos, older LRP Sphere competition TC and HW 120A v2.0, and i have 3.5 and 4.0T motors. I have Vortex race 2008 and i have speed passion v3.0, an i have few older team orion 3.5 and 4.5 motors.
Think that HW ESC and maybe speed passion 4.0T v3.0 motor are best bet but i don't know what sw version to put in esc stock or modified.
Maybe some one can give me some advice or tips how to setup speedo with motors that i have and what gear ratio to use.

Thanks

i wonder why u don't intend to request HW motor with adjustable timing... honestly as for now their 10.5t is fast and the speed amazed everyone at my local track...
