So theres no advantage in running the 120a, thought you might get better punch with the higher current limit.

Any difference between the Sprint blue and the normal black case one as I was looking at them on Ebay?

Hi all I have the SP V3 17.5T looking for some SWEET settings for the 518 software running 5-10º timing on the motor? any help greatly appreciated.

The car will be the Cyclone TC so a starting point for the FDR would be a added bonus.

I used my 60A one yesterday with a 13.5 Gm /12.5mm rotor geared 7.00 on tight indoor track and it was unbelieveably smooth when I got the settings spot on. It was around the same speed as any car with a 10.5.

Says they are released, but no one sells them yet. Where would be the first ones to get these in stock? Any of the HK stores?

Hi Chaps,

Can anyone tell me what their settings are for the Hobbywing 100422STOCK firmware are for a 10.5T motor?

I am running a TC5 if that makes any difference.

I have just installed a Hobbywing xerun 120 and need a little help with the setup
of boost etc.

Cheers

Hi Cobra Racing,

Last 2 days on the short track, I've used same the software n setup given by you but using different ratio 7.25 due to no pinion to macth up 6.4ratio and Tekin 10.5T (ratio 7.98) get bitten by me.

4 of my friends using Tekin esc and 10.5T Tekin motor but myself using HW120a and Team Power 11.5T motor. We are using the same car Xray T3.

The track is semi technical with 60feets straight line. Pickup is better than Tekin even do his ratio is lower than Tekin. Motor temp 141F without fan. The best part is my motor start roar a sound of a lion same as Tekin and it never happened before.

My car come out a bit fast from Tekin but early 30feets manage to leave Tekin by measurement of 7 cars but Tekin manage to get close to me (my tail) after nearly end of 60feets. Tekin turbo delay is 0.2 but my HW is 0.4.
Any advise on the setup??

I have pinion 19 thats will make my car ratio 8.40. If I use this on small track can I leave Tekin and cooler down my motor?? Any changes on the setup?

As I was mentioned earlier, I played in 2 tracks, small track with 60feets straight and big track with 130feets straight line.

With the setup I played last 2 night, I think I will get bitten by Tekin in big track because Tekin manage to catch up with me and get more faster after 40feets++ straight line.

Pls advise on the setup of the big track.

Thanks for ur guidence and advise coz now I've already start to smile on the track

Thx..

hard to say exactly from looking at your post. but the better ratio (6.4) would let the motor pull all the way down a longer straight - giving more top end speed.

You can try and more the rpm that the turbo kicks in up some also, so it's not as much torque, maybe more top end.

Just a quick thought.

I understand what u mean but u have to understand I'm racing in outdoor 2 semi technical track and besides that Tekin are using high ratio for more torque.
If I'm using 6.4, definately they will concour infield and I will be left behide.

Motor temperature also is a main concern.

Pls read my post for track details.

Thx.

question to supercharge gurus:

what does a 1, or 3 or 6 degree (or any value for that matter) advance timing do to motor rpm?

if i have a motor at 10000rpm running without advance timing, if it suddenly gets1 degree advance timing, what will be the motor's resulting rpm?

i would like to know if is there a simplified formula relating the following:

a. motor rpm without timing boost
b. degree of timing boost
c. new motor rpm because of timing boost
