So the hardware is the same?

When will the 2.1 be available? And pricing?

Hi,
when I click on my Hobbywing icon on my computer it comes up showing all the new updates. When I click on download it instantly comes up with updates failed in a new box.

Any ideas, any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

What is the deal with V2.0_100528_MOD ?

I upgraded my software and the readme popped up with info about this firmware, but it isn't an option in the drop down. I looked in CAR_ESC_version_control.ini and the firmware name is indeed in the list, and it is at the end, so why is it not an option?

i had the same issue, make sure when you run the hobbywingv.162 you 'right click' the icon and select 'run as administrator' then the updates worked for me. a nice 'feature' (not) on windows 7. in fact same on vista I believe, although my user account is administrator. Nice!

Default 608

Just put 608 on.. cant believe the rate that these are getting released.. awsome.. Will have to wait until Sunday to see the difference.. was there any known issues with 422 and 518 besides the menu issue on 422?

Cheers

Hello,

Im after some information regarding the Hobbywing ESC if anyone can help me?

A few questions :

1. Can the Xerun 120a run the stock motors 13.5 and 10.5 or is it for Modified motors only ie as in the Cont and burst currents are too high for the stock motor?

2. If the 120a is ok is there any benifit to run this instead of the 60a in a stock class?

3. Is there any difference between the black version or the Blue sprint version.

Im running the EZrun 35a at the moment and looking to upgrade, ive read the varies posts regarding the new software and these look really promising. The other ESC i am looking at were the GM90 and SP.gt2 but for the budget I would prefer the HB.

Any help would be great.

Many thanks Mike

"CAR_ESC_readme.txt
database version:1.75
1.The new firmware "100605" for XERUN-150A/80A significantly improves the start performance at very low PRM, and the throttle linearity is also improved.

2.The new firmware "100528_Mod" for XERUN-120A/60A V2.0 (or later version) is suitable for Modified Group racing. The turbo technology is also applied in this firmware, so the top speed is increased. "
