audriusv - I have not run it in 4wd yet - our new car is in final pre-production so hopefully soon. I have run it in 2wd Buggy and Truck so far.

As for settings, I would start with the standard settings and adjust from there as needed. I have changed settings and moved back closer to the standard.

The supercharged 518 software with my 120A ESC and 5.5T is violently fast. It so fast that it exceeds the driveshaft's critical speed which makes it bend. It never did this before I installed the 518 software.

Hobbywing DO NOT recommend use to use 518 software with motors faster than 10.5R.
So you need to be careful with your settings, otherwise you may burn your motor or esc.

I know but I had to try it out.

It was so wild. The tires looked like they were going to explode. Eventually they became separated from the rim from because there was so much centrifugal force by going so fast.

Hi Guys,

Tested the 518 software on the MACH track in Heemstede Netherlands and I must say it's a huge improvement over the Mamba in combination with the 13.5 SP 3.0. Top speed on our backstrait (240 ft) 85 km/h and after 7 minutes still 78 km/h. Motortemp w/o coolingfan 60 degr. C. Speedo 38 degr. w/o fan.
FDR: 5.5
Settings:
1. 1
2. 1
3. 6
4. 9
5. 4
6. 1
7. 2
8. 2
9. 8
10. 1
11. 1
12. 9
13. 5
14. 5
15. 3

Top speed was similar to TEKIN but end top speed after 7 minutes was higher (appr. 3 km/h). I will test with a higher FDR and different settings on 13, 14 and 15 next wednesday.

Thanks Hobbywing!!

Hi guys, currently I'm using Orca esc and Team Power 11.5T (timing +2) motor on my Xray T3. Ratio 6.64. Temperature after 5mins 180F. Hot right???

Punch through cornerring is still acceptable but on straight road I'm a loser. Tekin RS Pro bit me so well until I get really mad even do their ratio is 8.14. If their ratio same as mine, I will pack my bag and go straight home.

I think it is a time for me to upgrade my esc because a lot of my friends now using Tekin RS Pro and same motor as mine.

I heard about Hobbywing 120a and none of them are using it. If this esc can bit Tekin and make my motor cooler, I might consider it.

Pls help to advise on it because I'm confuse to choose between Hobbywing or Tekin RS Pro....

If you all said Hobbywing is better, tell me why and perhaps some comparison between Tekin RS Pro. Thanks.

I've now got my Tekin going properly, and, to be quite honest, my Xerun fitted with the same motor can't keep up. Admittedly, the difference probably isn't worth spending an extra 150 or so for an RS Pro and Hotwire.
