Something that I find very confusing and I believe it complicates things unnecessary...
The Dynamic and Turbo timing are randomly scattered through out the option menus.
E.g
As I understand it..
To set Dynamic timing you need to jump between the following options
#9
Sets the Dynamic internal timing
#13
Sets the Dynamic start RPM timing
# 15
Sets the Dynamic Timing Acceleration
To set the Turbo Boot Timing
We use options
#10 , #12 and #14.
So, to me it makes a lot more sense to reorganize the options, so that they follow on logically from each other and in effect, they are grouped together.
e.g
Dynamic timing options are group together to say options
#9, #10 and #11
And the Tubo Boot options
#12, #13 and #14
Instead of jumping around as it is currently.

Irgo, stop nagging and use your brains!
1.5/0.1 is so slow, you can then better use more Dynamic timing, instead of turbo boost timing....
9/0.1, what's the problem, you have 6 and 12, if you want the feel of 9, just add 2 degrees dynamic timing.
The other settings, if you really want to use them, what's wrong then with using the 101224 firmware?
I'm running it to!
110119 for me was a lot worse then 101224, I will give the new firmware 110211 a try if it comes available.

Hi Keith,
All the settings are available from either the LCD program box or the PC interface. Below is a guide for 21.5 as used by myself with 119 stock software. Of which you choose from available versions on the LCD box. I will upload a VIDEO to clarify this soon if you still have questions.
Settings below for 21.5 as used. Dated 26/02/11.
1 = 1
2 = 0%
3 = 3.4V
4 = 9
5 = 100%
6 = 25%
7 = 0%
8 = 6%
9 = 35
10 = 24
11 = ENABLED
12 = 24
13 = 3000
14 = 0.3SEC
15= 750
Cheers
Ren

Thanks for you help but I just got it sorted. I connect to Speedo via Motor checker so no other way to change with this speedo as no program card.
But my problem was my DPI setting in windows 7, it was at 110% but I need it at 100% to see all setting on my netbook..
Thanks
Keith

Indeed, but I will not install it until I'm absolutely sure that it will give atleast the same performance as the 101224, or that I can "downgrade" back to 101224, including the 2 in 1 box...

i am not to argue, but i feel a lot cooler when using 1.5°/0.1s
and it's different if compared with Boost Acceleration/DMTS Acceleration, because in some cases the timing will not raise when,
the Rpm not increasing. instead 1.5°/0.1s Turbo Increment is, unstop able Kick, which is no limit refer to rpm (keep increasing), until defined end timing.
and 9°/0.1 is just another option at medium, more option the better.
So i am talking complete option and i do think will not disturbed your settings available there.

M7... what is your finding motor temp compare with 1224 and 119 ver...? i found that 119 give lower motor temp at at least 5'c with same speed... that why i think 119 will give more speed if the temp is about the same...

If you are updating the ESC firmware and settings you will have to have the ESC connected to a power supply (battery) and be switched on to see the settings and reconfigure as well as to update the software versions.
I'll be placing video and pics showing this soon. Unless someone beats me to this !
Cheers

Hi Guys
I have just removed the instructions and will not be loading them again as i have been told via email through hobbywing head office that they have received emails that the new instructions are confusing some end users .
Im sorry that i have confused people i just thought maybe that most of you wanted the easy way out with a straight forward explanation on the words used in the instructions and how the system all works but i guess not .
sorry once again
regards Angelo

That's true.
With 12th scale 1S lipo my own experience is that with a LRP X12/13,5T the V3.0_101224 gave A LOT more punch then the V3.0_110119(which was comparable to V2.0_100518)
Also motor temps where much lower.
With a LRP X11, the 101224 does not have this strong performance... then maybe 110119 will be better, I don't know.
Maybe it's the frequency the ESC is cutting the 3 phases, which suits the X12 better?
With a GM, you can set this frequency. And I guess there is a reason for that...
