Questions??

Running a HW 60A Xerun with 518 software 13.5T GM ,
FDR 7.57
1=1
2=5
3=5
4=5
5=4
6=4
7=1
8=1
9=5 [changed to 7 for last final]
10=2
12=5
13=2[ 6000 changed to 4500 for last final]
14=2
15=6

During the last final the car was fast then slowed then fast and so on . Almost like it was going from sensored to sensorless. Brand new sensor lead was in place. This also happened for the first two runs last week when changing the lead cured it and enable a qualifying time and two subsequent fast finals.

Today four good runs and then fast-slow-fast. Motor temps max at 42oC

Any ideas?? Anyone??

anybody know the hottest motor you can run on the Xerun 120 v2.1?
Would the xtremestock ESC be a good choice for modified TC asphalt? Probably 5.5t brushless wind?

The xerun v2.1 can run down to a 3.5T

The xtreme stock can run a 5.5T with no turbo timing at all (switched off) with turbo timing on can run a 8.5T and up .Must always run a fan no matter what .

Great ESC. Are the release numbers based on date? Is 119 equal to Jan 19? Maybe more descriptive names for easier reference, e.g. 19Jan2011STOCK?

Just a suggestion.

try loading an early version on the box the install the latest HW version, especially if you sp on the programming box, with the HW software on the box it should load OK.
I always load it twice, just to make sure.

My the stock programme 1224 has changed in the following way

turbo slope has the following value
1=3 2=6 3=12 4=18 5=24 6=fastest

also timing acc has changed
1=50 2=100 3=150 4=200 5=250 6=300 7=350

is this a new programme change ?

Ran mine tonight for the first time with 224 in (nosram x11 10.5). Initially i used the recomended settings for 11.5 but left my FDR at 7.6 as thas what i used to run with 518. Could instantly tell it was smoother than 518 and soooo much cooler on motor temps but i needed more speed. Adjusted the settings to punch 7,
30deg boost timing,
18deg turbo timing,
start rpm 2000,
0.2s turbo delay,
12deg/0.1 sec turbo ramp,
750 boost timing acceleration

Its faster than 518 was now but the temps are nowhere near what they were, I think its alot nicer than 518 to drive but i may need to lower my punch a little as it goes sideways a bit too easily.lol

Not sure if im gonna try 119 or not yet as im nowhere near max settings on 224 and its one of the fastest (in a straight line) cars where i race.

Thats my little opinion and settings if there any help to anyone. Track is medium sized with a tight infield and around 50m straight

Those are the settings for the 0119STOCK software. So, that is the newest version.

Yes for the ESC, and highly recommended for the motor.

I would also highly recommend buying the Xerun 2.1 (120A) version instead of the XtremeSTOCK . The 2.1 model is more suited to running high current that is demanded for mod motors.

Cheers,
Shawn.

4-7
9-37
10-6
12-25
13-3
14-5
15-15
Motor end bell timing at max 10deg
FDR 6.88
Max Temp 70C

Track is technical infield with long straight, medium grip. Temp is almost like in Thailand, I also live in South East Asia. I m happy with the torque and top speed of this new firmware. The best so far....great job Hobbywing.
Thanks. Ill give it a shot
