Standard the boost setting is 22 and the turbo 14,

When i try to change this to lets say:
boost 19 and turbo 12 all works out as it should have when i do the apply.
So everything loads in the esc.

Then i go for a drive...and after that i check the settings:
The boost and timing setting are back at the standard 22 boost and 14 turbo.
It looks like the esc doesn`t hold the settings, same for rpm ranges etc..

Tried to reload the 1224 to esc and 2 in 1 box and also back to 518 and back...
the 518 does hold its settings.

Does anybody has the same problem or knows a method to get it right...????
Exact same thing an my 1S and Xtreme esc's. It save the other settings but not the boost and tubo. Calibated ect.........using the LCD the settings save and and show on the computer but changes made on the computer do not load to esc.

I checked it again and it is indeed only the boost and turbo.
The 1224 and 110108 software dont hold the settings and after disconnecting the pc or 2 in 1 box, the boost and turbo settings are lost.....

the old 518 software does save the settings.

ARE THERE MORE PEOPLE THAT HAVE THIS PROBLEM..???

How have you been setting the speedo up via pc?

I downloaded and updated the lcd box, (flashed twice) then updated the speedo (flashed twice) then I set the speedo up using the lcd box only and my sppedo saved all the settings and went like a rocketship on the standard suggested 13.5 settings.

Yes i set the esc with the PC, not the 2 in 1 box.

Think setting does work with the lcd 2 in 1 box.

It doesn`t work with the PC....its a bug.....

Will be fixed i hope.

Is it possible for others to try this through the pc, just to make sure.

Tried the new 1224 yesterday.

Thought it was ok but it just didnt seem to have the rip of the 518. (13.5 motor)

Played with the settings a little and ended up with a comparable lap time but without the real fast feel of the 518.

Temps were lower and maybe I felt this way because it was smoother but so far I am not too excited. I guess I will play around some more with the settings and see what I can find.

Is it just me?

Man....I`m a idiot....
here the instructions....its only possible with the program box:

CAUTION!
1. Once the new firmware has been loaded into the ESC, you can only use the LCD Program Box to set the parameters of the ESC.
2. You need to update the firmware of the LCD Program Box to compatible with this firmware.
HOW TO UPDATE THE FIRMWARE OF THE LCD PROGRAM?
Please check here: http://www.hobbywing.com/upload/manu...k%20manual.pdf

So, no bug....lol
Hope they will change it anyway, otherwise my special small laptop is useless.
Come on Cobra..

Also the 1S comes with cooling body and fan, but you can choose yourself if you want to mount them or not....

Not?...
It really has a lot more rip!...

with the 518, I put exponential on my throttle, to get some "bottom power"
with the 1224, I lower the exponential, because it was to much!....

So, yes I think it's you...

You forgot to read the whole sentence!!!!!!!!!!!!

CAUTION!
1. Once the new firmware has been loaded into the ESC, you can only use the LCD Program Box or PC
software to set the programmable parameters,
neither the LED Program Card nor the SET button is
available for programming the ESC with this new firmware.

It's not like a normal cog where it cogs at take off then comes fine, it cogs so bad the wheels can't turn, even when it's off the ground. It does that after a couple laps of normal driving, if I turn it off and on it comes right for another lap or two.
