It can be good, but yes you need to change your gearing.

I did a couple of runs yesterday again with the bike, keeping these settings...

I only lowered the FDR from 56/22 (6.91FDR) to 61/22 (7.56FDR) and saw a big improvement in running time: Talk about three complete 7 minute sessions with cool down periods in between! This with both 3200 and 3300 batteries...

I am slightly short on gears right now, so this is all I can do!!! I'm running 32DP gears ATM, but I may convert to 48DP, since I have a bigger selection on these...

Other than that, I felt that the top speed was slightly reduced, but the bike is still unbelievably driveable, correcting my silly mistakes and easy to handle, as always! The motor ran cooler than ever, too, at 55-60*C after 7 minutes, even though the afternoon sun was warming the place at 28*C...
The punch out of the corners is improved and it can slightly wheely without worrying me for a flip - usually...

I am tempted to up the No. 9 setting a bit (overall timing), to see what will happen with motor temps...

More testing to follow...

I think its important to continue stating your testing in a bike. I can only imagine its gearing, weight and traction loads are totally different then a touring car or offroad buggy..

I tried the new software in my 13.5 b4ft and 13.5 sc10 on wed night... i need more test time. we run a very short technical hard packed track. you barely get to hold full throttle on the straight as its short if you hold WOT longer then a second or 2 i would be surprised. So what i found was tones of high rpm power when you could let it loose. I need to try and move some of the power band down low. I did realize that if i was to short to clear a double that a full on stab of the throttle would if i had the grip still launch me over the doubles.. anyway i will play some more, to add to the task of testing this software was a new track layout that we had to learn and come to grips with with new level of grip

One thing i noticed using the LCD was that making on the fly changes requires u to select OK for each of the 15 parameters. I was changing a bunch of things and then selecting OK only to find out only one would save. You actually have to hit save for every single setting. i did not think this was the case with the old LED box.. Anyway for any of you guys like me that just got the LCD double check your settings are staying... And don't hit restore to default!!!!!!!!! It erased all my PC programmed names!! and settings

Bottom line so far: Motors stayed cool, my SC10 always has come off hotter then my buggy and still does but its still not to hot to hold a finger on(forgot my temp gun at home) Out on the street the top end was very very noticeably faster then before... The turbo kicks in for sure, on my short track a bit late but i ran near default settings all nite so perhaps a lower RPM is needed.

SETUP:
HW LED BOX
SP 2.0GT LPF
HW PC SOFTWARE

And I may add -if it's not yet been said before- the black and blue ESC's are the same inside, as long as they are V2.0...

Thanks for answer, should I get the good looking blue one (without fan) or the plain looking black one (with fan)? I will be using it with a 10.5 Xerun 3200kv, and put it in the new FF03 when it out. I have about 10 Ezrun systems and i love'em, works great both in M-chassi and F1.

Edit : I bought this system..

They ALL come with fan and stickers and a booklet with instructions. Both black ones and blue ones. They do NOT have a sensor cable though!
I bought my Xerun 120 a long time ago, it's a black V2.0 and the Xerun 60A recently and this one was blue. Same box, same contents for both.

Edit: If you get a combo with motor, then they include a sensor cable and led card.

Yep, almost all the time I say "the bike" somewhere in my posts... And I know that what works here for the TC's mostly, is not supposed to work on the bike and vice-versa... So I experiment with settings, and post accordingly...

We apply the forum knowledge for TC's on my son's Sprint2, though, which he races at RCGT, with a Xerun 60A and a Nosram 17.5T. But now he's got school exams -he's 14- so I keep the knowledge for myself, though secretly I applied the new SW to his ESC!!!
