Default Servo Recommendations

JR's keep letting me down.......blew a TH servo(9100S) last race of 09 in A-Main-blew that NIB replacement today 10 min before quals taking any & all suggestions

Endpoints set correctly? (not too much travel, excessive binding)
What battery are you using? (voltage)

Car=MRX4X
Batt=Reedy 6V 1600mah flat pack
