Default Futaba

I have a Futaba S9551 low profile servo, can not find a gear set for. I called Futaba they said the gear set had been discountinued but the servo is still current, So I guess they think that I will buy a new servo throw the other away HA HA. that will be the last Futaba.

Default The Tires Werent Bad

2) Then the company gets on and says:
a) this customer bought the product used and
b) this product was obviously abused and overloaded, hooked up backwards, etc.

I am not saying this customer is wrong, but I am asking how a company is supposed to know? I have seen people do stupid things in r/c and blaming the company for products that go bad from incorrect use is wrong.

I had have excellent service from most r/c companies except trinity (pretty much everyone has a bad trinity experience,) and jaco (I sent them a defective set of tires, they admitted the defect and sent back the same defective tires.) The main reason I have good experiences is because I am reasonable. I don't expect a company to drop everything and treat me like royalty. If you purchased a bad set of tires, and you need the tires this weekend, purchase another set and you are set. When the other set gets replaced, you'll have 2. See, simple.
The tires were fine, except there was a revolver in my caliber bag! And I did go drop another $30 for 2 more calibers to make the race. So that set cost me $90 for four calibers . They F'd me on that set. But they lose in the end because thats the last $ they will ever get out of me. And I loved proline tires-its ALL that went on my car. The simple/right thing to do was send ONE tire to help a loyal customer who was screwed over by thier mistake. I ahve lost no speed by running other brands and alot of cases I am saving money. They are the ones who ended up losing hundreds of $ a year from me. I didnt think that actualy getting what I paid for is asking too much.

Thumbs up Go With Mugen

Never had any issues with Losi before I went to HB, might think about going back just because of the support from HB is so poor.....[/QUOTE]

Travis has never been faster since he jumped ship from HB I'm a Xray guy myself-former HB & Mugen. I need the durability of the 808 to make up for lack of self control with my trigger finger

Same thing just happened to me this weekend. I ordered two sets of Bow-Ties mounted on Split Six bead locks for my SC10. In one bag I got a Bow-Tie and a Caliber. I emailed them this weekend. Still waiting for a reply.
But I don't understand how this can happen? Last time I checked they don't even offer Caliber's mounted on Split Six for the SC10.

This is the exact reason I buy 95% of my stuff at the LHS. I can look at it before I buy.

+1 to that, they had my new sidewinder sent out the day they recieved the defective one. The best in my experience though is axial. I got a set of beadlock rings which were mispackaged and they sent me a new set, even though they knew they were already replaced by myatomic. They were great on the phone too. Neither axial or myatomic made mesend the original ones back. By the way I live in Korea too so they covered higher shipping costs.

You guys in the US are really lucky to even have warranties and customer service. Here in Manila, Futaba and most RC stuff do not come with any kind of warranty. You test it at the shop when you buy it, and that's it. Same thing in Hong Kong. I bought my 4PK while I was over there, and they also did not offer any kind of warranty. Just test before (for non-sealed items) or after(for factory-sealed items) you buy, which I of course did.

Given the choice, I'd rather deal with the worst customer service in the world and at least have a chance of having my gear repaired, than have no kind of warranty whatsoever.
