Fried Lipo??????

Default Fried Lipo??????

Other than smoking my esc and motor. What happens to my lipo when I plug it in backwards???? Don't ask how, I should know better after 20 years The pack looks fine but not sure (hard case) Easy way to check it???

Hard cases are not shy about swelling, so if its not puffed and split and has some voltage (how much??) you may be able to rescue/use it. Some these the way they're wired inside, its like they have a fusible link inside - it pops and prevents total meltdown (usually a circuit trace).

I won't ask.....

gonna check cell voltage tomorrow before I do anything....sucks too, was a 2 month old Team Checkpoint 5000mah/40c pack........

They only way you'll see 0 voltage is if there is something blown wiring wise inside. These should have female bullets inside that are attached to a small pc of pcb if they're like the others I've seen inside. What you see for voltage will tell you which way to go with it next.

Lipo is fine 4.2v on each cell (it wasn't full) charges fine and raced with it yesterday. thanks guys
