Default charging amps and lipos

I know you can charge at 1A/1000Mah. Is it better for longevity or performance over the long run to charge a Lipo at a lower amp? Thx

No - some claim it is, but when you ask to see data supporting the claim that charging at less than 1C charge rates increase lipo life, there apparently is none. I've asked more than once and have yet to see any.

I don't think you hurt anything by charging at less than 1C, but you apparently don't get anything for the extra time it takes as far as increased lipo life.

1C (or whatever lipo label or instructions says) is a maximum safe charge rate. Nothing says you have to charge at that rate.
