Hyperion EOS0615I-DUO-III Dual Port Charger

Does anybody know anything about this unit? I would like to get it in place of my two team checkpoint 1030's but its mosty on heli sites so im not sure if it would work well for 10th scale car racing or not.

It does a fine job on ground type lipos - there's a hyperion thread just about these chargers - started with orig Duo and 0610 and have moved on as they've evolved.

I have it. It works great, it really is 2 chargers with seperate memories etc. When we run F1 at night my buddy shares it with me and he says it has more punch than when he charges with his losi/corerc charger, 7.4v lipo

It has an actual usb plug so it is easy to update

Has anyone updated one of these?

I like the update feature but they really seem to stress the fact that if you kill the charger doing it you are going to be buying a replacement.

I have a pair of 0610iNet chargers. When I read Hyperion's warning about updating, then read their directions, I decided to try it. I had to install the driver for the USB port and then the firmware update with mine. The instructions are clear and very close to what I actually saw on my laptop while doing it.

I've updated both chargers now several times and it takes longer to get setup to do the update than to actually do it. If you have a little PC savy and can follow directions, I don't think it will be a prob. I'm glad I did, my chargers have more funxctionality and are safer that what I originally bought.
