Default Tinned Flat Copper Braid vs desoder braid

Can the pro-wick desoder (sp) braid be used instead of a Tinned Flat Copper Braid ?
I am building some 3000mah AA receiver packs and have the pro wick braid and it looks just like the 1/4 braided wire.Or should I just get the Flat Copper Braid ?
Thanks Joe

If I understand what you have, thats the same stuff I used for making a123s pacs and it worked find in those - copper braid. Some one on RCGroups tested it to way more amps than either you or I will ever run thru it.

It's copper braid but has rosin on it to wick the solder off of a joint, I was going to clean the rosin off and use it for my RX packs,.

Thanks Duster, I thought you might respond!!
