fail safe

Default fail safe

i have os v spec and have no return spring and have heard of people running a fail safe. have any of you had any experience with this and how do you install the fail safe?

Demand for failsafes have been hurt by all the radios on the market since many incorporate the failsafe into the radio. Thats the reason I don't run one anymore - my 3PK has both a low batt and loss of signal failsafe.

I used to use a small OFNA failsafe like this one -

I still use a rubber oring looped around the carb and where the servo attaches to the carb as a throttle return.

thanks for the info. i just worry about the car taking off. i have a specktrum with a fail safe just dont trust is cause it is in the radio. i think i want to get one
