Are Losi Sensored motors rated lower Kv than other brands?
Just curious....looking at some of the ESC\Motor Combos specifications on Amain (Losi fact sheet has the same Kv numbers as well):
(Losi Motors)
17.5T = RPM per Volt (Kv): 1820Kv
13.5T = RPM per Volt (Kv): 2360Kv
10.5T = RPM per Volt (Kv): 3080Kv
6.5T = RPM per Volt (Kv): 4880Kv
Then compare to Novak's:
And LRP
17.5T = KV: 2.3
13.5T = KV: 3.2
10.5T = KV: 3.8
6.5T = kV: 5,400
(Losi Motors)

That may well be right. They vary a lot depending on construction, including if they have bonded or sintered rotors. For example, the Novak Ballistc and SS 13.5 motors are 195 watts, but the Novak Havoc is about 165 watts.
