On another positive note, Airtronics states they have a 1 year warranty.

Feels like 70/30 give or take, not adjustable...

Wow, thanks for the heads up.
I was totally unaware there were any other brands out there besides Airtronics...
I must have been under a rock all this time.

I was looking at some reviews here and around the internet and I am definetly going to be buying this radio... it has the same features and one extra channel than the Futaba 2PK 2.4 and the Futaba is US$30 more.

Also as far as the reciever (Airtronics 92524) A Main Hobbies and other websites have it for around US$70

I ended up getting this radio and it's been a great radio. For the price and the feature set I can't find anything that touches it. Even on the used market. The receiver is tiny, too!

I just was trying to research this radio and of course ended up
at what is, according to Google, the Airtronics web site.

If Airtronics.net is the correct URL that company has all the looks
of something going out of business.

I could find NO details of the radios. All I can find at that site
is listings of radios and Airtronics gear that all appears to be out of stock.
I find more information on retail sites, but that is not sufficient for me. I want manufacturer info not what a retail site claims.

To be sure, I've known about Airtronics for years and recognize the name
as one that is well regarded.

That said, I can't imagine buying anything from them based on that
totally useless website.

If I have the incorrect URL I'd appreciate someone correcting me
as I am interested in the radio listed by the OP. I can't buy just based
on what I read at some retail hobby company site. If the manufacturer
can't do better than that site .. .. cheesus.

Someone posted above they contacted Airtronics customer service. How the heck did you find them? I can't find jack on the site I listed above.

Please, post away if you know of another URL. Maybe Google rankings were poisoned.

Yeah that's what happend when they converted their old site which had great information but no way to buy directly online into the new site which is basically an online store with no detailed information.

Wow.
Thas a sad story then.
Whatever they were must be going down hill fast if they make decisions like that.

A online store they run with nothing in stock.

Does not make them look good to a nub buyer looking for kit.

I've visited Futaba and a couple other makers. Least they look more professional which is encouraging.

Far more info on the FUtaba site.

They aren't going out of business that's for sure since Sanwa/Aitronics systems are very popular and great bang for buck. Many people use them from novices to pros. Your best bet is to buy from Hobbypeople. They've got the best prices on Sanwa/Airtronics systems/accessories. It looks like Hobbypeople doesn't carry the MX-3FG anymore. They only carry the newer more expensive MX-3X.

It's pretty strange that they took down the old website and not reuse any of the info there to put up a online store with practically no info at all. The really sad thing is they charge you to download their user manuals.
