Default Spektrum Receiver-Broken Antenna Wire

Hey guys, I need to replace the antenna wire on one of my receivers. It's a Spektrum 3000 (or something) model. Do these use a very specific type of antenna wire, or can I use some regular old wire from another type of receiver?

Thanks,
Jim

As long as it is the same guage wire and the same length, it should work. Don't overheat the circuit board. I use a battery operated low watt iron.

I located some Futaba 2.4ghz receiver wire locally. The funny thing is the price. Their regular antenna wire is $1.99 for about a yard. The 2.4ghz wire is $11.99. Kind of a burn I suppose, but that's the way the market works.

I'll turn the heat down on my iron and give it a go tonight.

Thanks,
Jim

Fixed it! I could only find some Futaba wire that was supposed to be for 75mhz. It seems to have worked.
