I love my Hitec's. I switched from JR and have been very happy. The JR's were good but IMO get more slop or play in the servo gears after awhile for some reason.

Brass gears VS Titanium gears....its pretty simple actually.....that's my MAIN point i make when ever a servo discussion come's up at a race and it usually shuts up the opposition.

Oh and fwiw check out the guts of a JR 9000 or 9100 or any of the top end JR's....the bushing's are brass which we already know is inferior....but the bushing's are poorly captured with a plastic ring that ive seen fail on 2 occasion's...I have NEVER seen a Hitec 5955/7955 top case fail nor the gear's.

Only thing I don't like about my 5955's is they last too long. I've been wanting 7955's for a while now, but the 5955's just won't give up, can't bring myself to sell them, LOL

On the down side... you may have to change the servo arm..

Awesome product. I run a pair in my truggy unregulated and they rock. If my garage door opener takes a dump I may give one of these a try.

I've been very happy with my 7955TG in my Clodbuster... Turned the stock tires like nothing! Just for comparison, putting a set of truggy wheels/tires on it dropped the total weight by 3lbs

My HS645MG lasted through 8 years of water, mud, snow (At -40!), salt, sand... So I can't complain about the durability so far

I just put one of these in my RC8 for steering and I am liking it so far. Much
smoother and more precise than the AE 1313 I had in there. Not as fast though. My local R/C shop recommended it because "it's indestructable" so
for the price I bought one. Time will tell. Thinking about replacing the AE 1313 on the throttle too. What is a good Hitech for throttle/brake in an 8th scale buggy??
