mamba lipo cut off

Default mamba lipo cut off

guys i just got a mamba max and a smc 5200 24c 2 cell.. i set the cut off at 6.2v is that ok or 6.0 if fine.... i just want to be safe..

Anything above 6V is fine. I usually just set mine to auto-detect but that's because I run both 3S and 2S.

Auto lipo automatically sets a cutoff every time you plug a battery in 6v for 2s, 9v for 3s. Handy if your like K_B and run both 2s and 3s lipos on the same controller so you dont have to go back in and reprogram it every time you change batteries

thats cool.. im new to lipos and just spent some cash on them..lol 6.2 is a save setting or is 6v fine

I use 6.2 - 6.4v as (lighter weight, lower lvc, heavier a little bit higher) a cutoff to have a little safety margin. Like you said, lipos are expensive, so why take any unnecessary chances?
