Default 1/18th Sidewinder will not callibrate:(

I jsut built my new FT RC18T and I was trying to set the ESC and it would not work. I do the proper procedure and I get nothing.

The servo works, but the throttle will not callibrate.

Any help?

hmm, might have to disconnect all and start from scratch. u said u have steering so ur rx is surely gettin power and is responding to radio. any lights? anything? no beeps? really faint beeps (sounds like a speaker with its amp unhooked)? check out the castle thread in the manufs portion of the onroad forum for more help. the castle guys will sort it out. i've had a balky speedo that was fussy bout a program b4, but givin it some time, restarting from scratch, usually will get things back going. do u have an castle link? did u use it already to change stuff?

What radio do you have? if it is futaba you need to reverse the throttle. other than that make sure your endpoints and trim are set correctly

Okay, I got the thing working. I had everything set correctly, but the problem was that the connector that plugs into the receiver from the esc was backwards

Haha.

But really, so putting the connector in backwards could fry the RX? I guess I am lucky!

Thanks for all the help gentlemen. (and any ladies)
