I assume this is a recvr pac from th voltage? I disch mine at 0.5amp and charge at 1amp. If I don't use mine at least once a month, I cycle them 3 times and they come back to full capacity.

I've heard mixed reviews about how much charge should be left in Nimh's for storage. I do know that you never want them to go completely dead as this will damage the pack. I have heard that for long term storage packs should be fully charged before they are put away however my packs are usually only stored with about 50%. They definately will need to be cycled a few times after storage but should come back quite nicely.

If I'm storing mine, I charge it fully - NiMH self discharge, so starting at 100% will prevent them from reaching absolute zero the longest. I don't let them go more than a month without activity however. Long term is something else - months or years?? If I was looking at that kind of time frame, I'd plan of getting new and consider selling off the ones I have before quitting.

Cycling works great, 3 cycles seems to bring them back - you can see it in the discharge, the 2nd will be much beter than the 1st and the 3rd will only be a little better that the 2nd. If there is still a big diff 3rd to 2nd, I cycle them some more till I see the discharge numbers stabilize. Ice charger makes this easy - I let them cool 10min between discharging and charging.
