It's all about how the radio feels in your hands for me...... I've had the futaba although it was 40mhz version not 2.4, it is the same radio. I'm using a Ko Universe with ko 2.4 now.

Essentially they both have the same functions, Some people like the Futaba menu's and screen better, I'm very used to the Ko and it seems easy enough to me ......

I believe you'll be happy with the functionalty of either, As I said it's all about how the handset feels

On the Ko Propo 2.4 system there IS a fail safe setting, BUT it's only on the throttle/brake channel and then only if you set it up.

Works just great though

The Ko reciever is tiny too, A similar size to the Mirco Spektrum one and probably smaller than anything else on the market....

If you were talking about OVER HEAT fail safe the Ko propo doesn't have that, so no lost race's due to elecronic's shut down. This does seem to be a major problem for people using the Futaba 2.4 currently and may well be worth your while looking into before parting with your cash if that's the radio you like most ?
