Hi All

I recently got a Esprit 2 Vantage, which unfortuantely was broken. However the guy says he will swap it out for another one.

Can I check what are the different types of Esprit 2? At the moment I think I've discovered that there are these variations

• There is a plain one with no digital display
• There is one with a digital display with Green Buttons
• There is one with a digital display with Grey buttons
• and the Type R (which is gold)

Is the One with Green buttons older than the one with Silver buttons?

The guy said that the new one has Nicads, are these soldered in the unit? or removable? My Silver one allowed me to put in rechargeable batteries or normal ones, although I think I've seen ones where you cannot put them in.


Can I get manuals for all of these online?

there are 3 versions.

green buttoned being the oldest, next silver edging etc and the newest having the gold trim and knobs.

Don't know much about the original one but the gold version offered a new processor which improved responce times ........

I had the silver version and my dads got the newer Gold one . I can't tell the difference in responce time ontrack ........

the nicads should be removable and come as a pack..
