Smile servo questions

How do I choose the right type of servos for either an on-road or off-road vehicle? What do the numbers about the speed and torque mean? What are the best speed and torque numbers to use on average, what is preffered? Thanks,

.06 (JR z9100s) is the fastest they make and i think 408oz. is the most torque out for servos. All depends on what you want do you want a really fast servo or do you need torque?

If you are looking for a good quality servo, Airtronics has several near the $100 mark... depending on what you need as the previous poster said.. they have one for you.

$100 sounds like a lot of money.. but they are metal geared, fast, lots of torque and will last you years.. I have had some of these servos for over 10 years! Still good and work today!

Even some of the $50 range servos from Hitec and JR are ok.. but in my experience the Airtronics gives you the best bang for the buck!
