I get my A123 (LiFe) packs from www.rclipos.com

They are 20 minutes from me but since their shipping is FREE, I don't waste gas driving to them.

They carry LiPo's as well.

TrueRC.com has good prices.
They are great cells for 1/10 packs, RX packs had small heli stuff.
They use the same cells as maxamps.
I have a few of them with no problems.

They sold me an open package battery (without telling me it was open package), then refused to take it back when I contacted them the day I received it.

Don't buy from a company that sells used items and represents them as new. You could be getting a potentially explosive battery, or one that is just plain dead.

Worst service around, and very crooked.

It really depends on your LHS, if you have to wait for 2-4 weeks
for a product that everybody has it in stock, that's a different story.
I'm just lucky to have a very efficient LHS that also takes care of me!

if you have to wait that long....they arent a LHS to begin with. average time for a LHS to get somethign they dont have is a max of 3 days. Ive never waited longer. I place my orders monday evening after work (I break alot on race day) and pick everything up they didnt have then, thursday after work.

Mine have come from several internet shops - RCM, Tower, RCLipos and others. I don't have a close lhs and the one I do visit to buy fuel isn't into electrics - he's mostly nitro planes.
