Arrow DO I NEED A FAIL SAFE???

I just bought the spektrum dx3.0 radio and i am currently putting in the receivers. I used fail safes on every car i have but now that i am using spektrum i'm not sure if i still need them. I know the receivers have a built in fail safe so i am not sure if should re-install them. If anybody runs spektrum can you let me know if you run with or with-out a fail safe please.

You don't need an additional electronic failsafe if you've programmed in the failsafe options when you bound the Tx/Rx.

However, I highly recommend that you install a mechanical failsafe (Throttle Return Spring or TRS) which will save you when the electronics fail.
