Default servo neutral setting question...

I have a 3PK , just bought a Futaba S9452 servo, using a 2.4 , yada, yada...
when I set my controller to steering zero so I can install the arm on the servo the arm is either to the left or to the right when it slips into the toothed gear... I can then zero out using my controller but that seems stupid... Is there any way to turn the adjust to toothed gear on the servo ? I hope I've made myself clear... Thanks for any help... Charles

Common issue, hard to get it exactly spot on. Does the 3PK have sub trim? That's what it is for. And is the link that attaches to the servo adjustable, or can you adjust the position of the servo in the chassis? I use the compromise that results in the most even left to right steering travel, then use endpoint adjustments to finish.
