Seems to be worldwide Spektrum non-binding day today...

Had same issue, ended up trying again after 10mins and worked

Need a litlle more information. To bind the receiver what you should do is this:

1: Hold down the bind button
2: Provide power to the receiver via ESC or Receiver pack.
3: Hold down the bind button on the transmitter while turning the transmitter on
4: 2-5 seconds later the receiver should be bound to the transmitter.

If you have the polarity backwards on the inputs into the receiver, the receiver will not bind properly. If its still not binding let us know.

Default Binding issues

I'm having this same issue. I've tried the binding process above about a dozen times. I even followed the binding video on spektrum's website(same process) and its still not working. The light on the receiver blinks rapidly but the led on the transmitter does not. It blinks twice then stops blinking entirely and never binds to the receiver. I even changed the batteries in the transmitter to a fresh set of rayovacs and its still wasn't working(voltage on the screen did increase however).

Any thoughts? TIA

Frank

I had the same problem when i bought the dx3.0 one of the two receivers you get would bind but then always unbind it's self, very frustrating I tried everything, new RX pack, different transmitters etc but nothing fixed it. So i sent the problem receiver back and they diagnosed it as a "binding issue", not remebering that it was binded in the first place so they replaced it with a brand new one and have never had a problem with spektrum since.

I have seen a few of the SR3000's do this, none lately though. Send it back.

Took it to the LHS and they swapped it out no prob. Turned out to be a defective transmitter. No binding issues any longer.

i thought i was the only one having this problem. I tested my sr3000 to another spektrum tx and it worked. Seems that my DX3.0 had some binding issue.

Now my BIGGEST problem is.. i sent my radio system (DX3.0 and SR3000) to Horizon Hobby Spektrum service and i didnt receive yet any updates from them. i sent it last 3rd week of May
