Lipo Charging Questions
I got on the way the team orion 3200 pack, and already i went the site and read the instructions like 5 times, but i have another question.
right after you the lipo cutoff kicks in and you strap it to the charger would charge it again at 3.2amps?
because there are guys at the track who finish the race with a ton of battery left, so do you just charge it again at the 3.2 amps to get it back to full capacity?
thanks for your help in advance

Yes just charge it back up at 1C, which is 3.2amps for a 3200 batt.
There is no need to discharge a lipo pack. In fact you NEVER want to discharge a Lipo pack. Hope you are using a Lipo charger so it will not go over 8.4 volts.

Yes, just slap that 3200 lipo pack back on the lipo charger at the 3.2 amps rate. After the charger gets up to 8.4 volts, you will see the amp charging rate slowly come down; and, finish topping off the pack at something like a 0.25 amp charging rate before shutting off.
If you ever place your lipo pack on a charger and it reads 8.4 volts; then, immediately stop charging because it is already fully charged. Don't try to top off a lipo pack.
After a five minute run (TC) at the end of the day, you should have about a half-charged pack. Put it away for next time, assuming that will be within a week or so.
Per the new ROAR rules, always charge lipo packs in a fire proof sack or enclosure. Especially if I am sitting next to you...LOL.
