Default Binding

How do I bind a micro receiver in a nitro car where the bind slot is use for the battery? I have bound other receivers where they have the button but on the micro there is no button only the bind plug and i have my battery in that slot.

The receiver should be marked "bind", place the bind plug in the slot closest to the end of the receiver. Place the battery in the auxillary slot. Turn on car, then transmitter to bind. Hope this helps.

I am thinking I got a bad radio, and I am not sure I want to risk another set of servos on this thing.

happened to me too. no mo servo action.
the transmitter went nuts, now it won't get detected by the esc.

major downer on what looked like a decent product.

Man is this frustrating. I purchased a DX3r when it first came out and started having problems with it. Spektrum came out with the news that you might have to send your radio in if it falls into a certain group of numbers, which mine did, and they would update the radio with updated hardware that would fix the problem and send it back to you. I called Spektrum and there customer service was awesome, I sent the radio in and got it back in a week. First race with the updated radio had no problems until the middle of a 45 minute A-main race, like LOOPER said in one of his post, its like the radio or receiver has a brain fart and then it suddenly wakes up and it works fine again. I rebind the radio and it works fine then out of nowhere it has binding issues (brain farts). For the finals this past weekend, I lost bind in 2 of my qualifiers and in the A-main. Again you would be hauling down the track go into a turn and nothing ,then it would wake up and work fine. Before I call Spektrum on this issue is there anything I can check to rule out anything I might be doing wrong? Batteries are all charged! Antenna is not cut! It was a small track so I don't think I had range issues! Again I love this radio but am kinda lost for words. Will let you know what i find out from Spektrum.

I don't believe the new rx is compatible. A 3000 rx works with the telem.

The SR3100 is not compatible with telemetry. You'll need to use the SR3000 or SR3001 receivers to use telemetry

Ok guys did anyone try a backlit mod on this radio yet? If the radio truely gets 15 hours run time on 4 cells then even if the backlit mod takes half of that its still killer batttery life. The two things I dislike about the radio are the lack of backlit display (I knew that buying it) and the single beep on the timer that I can barely hear.

I was on the website and I seen the 4-diget numbers for the earlier models that are having problems so I decided to pull my battery cover off and check. My numbers match but I have had no problems what so ever, it's been flawless. Do you guy's think I should call them and see if it needs to be sent in?
