Correct, top level race radios usually are sold without servos since racers have diffrent needs.

hi guys
does it worth to switch dx3r from 3pk?
I know how light it is but if we compare with 3pk dx3r looks so cheap to me...
share your thoughts and experiences please ...
cheers

For those that have this radio what batteries are you guys running beyond the stock setup of 4 double A's? Also, what case you guys using to transport this lil' fella to and fro the racing grounds?

I just ordered mine so I am really looking forward to checking it out on the track. Any things to be aware of before getting started?

Just hold it and drive with it and see what you think. I had a Z-1 and Helios before the DX3R. It's very comfortable to drive with

Just ordered mine from www.ultimatehobbies.com with 2 extra DSM2 recievers for under $450 shipped (they have the radio on sale!). Send in the form to get 2 free receivers and I get a nice radio with 5 receivers for under $450, can't beat that.

Got mine today. I could swear I purchased an empty box, but to my surprise this thing is just that light.

We've got brushless motors, sensorless motors, crystalless radios, stuff so light ya can't even tell if anything even came in the box.

Do we get anything for our hard earned cash these days?
