Default RX Capacitor?

Hey,

i bought a B4 (Rc10, team factory)...and my mate gave me a capacitor with it..it got the standard RX plug on it...the only thing i can really guess it would be 4 is when u open the throttle (100%) the capacitor dishcarges so it wont suddenly drain the battery from the high amperege being drawn by the battery.

this is correct yea??

Also i came 2 this conclusion because i know when a sudden high amperege is drawn(from the battery, by a motor etc.) the voltage drops and slowly rises as it tries to re-stablize the voltage.

so yea, this is correct, right?

cheers
