looking at the Eurus, does it still use a modual???? if so, WTF is the old antenna mount doing on there, and WHY isn't the antenna integrated with the case????

adjustable wheel off of the C2?
why is the drop down mod still an option on $400 TX??

The EX-10 Eurus still comes with a module mounted in the back so that it is backwards compatible with our older products. We didn't want to force our current customers with older equipment to "have to" buy all new gear and those that run the Kyosho Mini-Z or dNano could use their Mini-Z modules with the Tx.

The antenna mount is there so that you if wanted to go back to using your crystals or Mini-Z AM module, you can insert the antenna.

Still don't have all the fine details, but last I saw it did have the decrease angle spacer behind the wheel just like the C2 and EX-1 UR wheel.

The multi angle wheel extension is still an option and the Helios wheel extension can be used with this Tx. Believe it or not, majority of the people out there don't really use the wheel extension.

I forgot about the mini-z... stupid kyosho, always has to be different

will you offer the TX without the modual? price?

are the wires to the wheel/button any longer? it took me 30min to get both of them plugged in the last time I did it(drop-down adapter) even a few MM would help

At this moment, I have not seen an offer from KO Japan for the Tx only. As for the wires I'll see what I can find out.

So you want us to give you the Eurus (Tx only) for free?? You still have to buy the NEW Tx. Just don't get some people sometimes I guess.

We are only offering it as a set with the new system at the moment. So once you purchase the system, you can still use your old equipment if you want to.

no, its just a misunderstanding.
I have the 2.4ghz modual and RX, I don;t want to buy a new TX and have it come with a modual/RX that I have no use for. without the modual/RX it should drop the price by <$150

I wouldn't object to a free TX

the module is a different module. the new radio is full digital and has a faster response. you can still use the 2.4 module you have and rx, but you will have to turn down the response time on the radios for them to work.

are you saying the eurus 2.4 module is newer than the ex1's 2.4?

I'm already tired of having a 2.4 for most cars and a kyosho 2.4 for my mini-z's.

is it ok to cut the antenna on the 408 RX? what about the 407?

BTW, make the antenna wire on the modual a few in. longer, and coat it with sliacone...

Are the new modules (the ones used with the Eurus) going to be reverse compatible with the Helios and EX-1 UR?

Default Helios EX-10(501F Module) vs EX1-UR 2.4Ghz/KR408S Comparison

I currently have a Helios w/501F Module and mini Rx(s). I wanted to upgrade to the 2.4Ghz technology and picked up a EX-1 UR 2.4 for a little more than the cost of the KO 2.4Ghz Tx/Rx combo alone. My questions are this:

1) Is the EX-1UR w/2.4 going to be faster than the Helios w/crystals?

2) If I transferred the 2.4 module to the Helios is it going to be faster than the EX-1 UR w/2.4 module?

3) Would the EX-1 UR w/crystals be faster than the Helios with crystals?

4) How do either KO radio's w/2.4Ghz compare to the Spektrum DX3R?

Thanks for the responses.
