Making a good guess with no problems in production, 3 months. That would be the earliest. It is a lot further along for consumer release then some may think.

Japan will get the first release, but if you live in the US you probably don't want that version. The Japanese version will be lower output (less range) then the US version due to country laws.

any idea how much will it cost and will it come in with the radio.

knight- Japan has not released a price for the international sales. I would assume that it would work with the mini-z but not sure at this moment.

fito- We will release it as a module/rx set and also offer it as a radio set. No prices yet.

keeping my fingers crossed that there's an option RX that's as small as the Spektrum micro RX. With the huge brushless ESCs, we need all the real estate we can get.

VooDoo.. check out the pic above. that receiver looks pretty damn small to me.

sorry for the ignorance, but what exactly does this mean?

do you mean the range of "frequency numbers" or "receiver to transmitter" range?

Output of the module (strength) will be less. Japan has 10mW max output. US has 100mW max output.
