Have you checked out here on the Futaba USA chart, it states if its FASST, S-FHSS and if it has telemetry

Really, this radio is almost exactly the same as the 4pv? Am I missing something?

It looks that way on the surface, but inside, it is really more of a scaled down 7PX being that is has the SR response mode. I don't know why they decided to make the 4PLS replacement that the 4PM is intended to be, a technically more advanced radio then the mid high end 4PV is, but can only assume that there will be a 4PR(or something like that) coming down the line soon, with the better grip of the PV and the same tech built into the 4PM. Just a hunch on my part.

For all that may not understand how Futaba operates, the 4PV is to the 4PM as the 4PL was to the 4PLS!

I'm looking to replace my old Futaba T3PK. It would be awesome if my new radio was compatible with the many R603FS receivers that I have. I didn't see the T4PM on the Futaba web site chart. Does anyone know of a current Futaba transmitter that is compatible with the R603FS receivers or am I looking at all new transmitter and receivers? Thanks in advance for any help.

Your 603 is a FASST receiver right?

The 4PM is T-FHSS based with SR capabilities. The 304's are great receivers...

Thanks for the quick response. The R304SB-E is reasonably priced and I like the fact that it has no external antenna so I'm thinking the T4PM would be a good upgrade for me. Thanks again for the feedback

Is there a way to get ESC readings displayed onto the transmitter LCD without needing to hook up a ton of telemetry sensors? I have a XR10 Pro with a V3 motor and through an app I can get temp, rpm, and voltage. Is there an easy/cheap way to get that to show on the radio? It seems telemetry is cool and all, but vastly overpriced for basic functions that are already built in half the equipment out there.

Not everyone offers esc readings. All I am.aware.of is Sanwa with their top of the line ESC's where you can change settings via the radio. What are you trying to see? Temps, RPM? SBUS Telemetry is pretty good.

Just wish there was a simple way for this radio to pull these readings from the ESC for status monitoring.

The only way to do this currently with Futaba is to use their speed controller which I don't believe is available in the US. Its called the MC970CR.

That is correct, but only on the 7PX and 7CX, and i think its geared towards the drift crowd.

The video I posted shows how to do it using the 4PM, but I believe you’re correct that it is primarily meant as a drifting ESC.
