Default Problem charging NIMH 6 cell Battery Pack?

I have identified the problem, the charger I'm using (Tenergy Universal Smart Charger) only recognizes 6v to 12v battery packs, well the NIMH pack I am trying to charge has been sitting for a while and has discharged down to 4.15v and so the charger doesn't recognize it. The pack itself is still good, at least to my knowledge. Is there anyway I could quickly raise it's voltage to at least 6v so the charger recognizes it?
Any help would be gladly appreciated. Dankeschön!

Try to hook it up to a wall charger, the type that comes with a transmitter, (use the RX side) that might bring the voltage up enough for your regular charger to take over

good luck

This battery revive set-up worked on a Trinity Reference 3600mah 6-cell Battery Pack.

You can try to revive the battery-pack by first charging it at 0.5Amps and 5Mv.
-waited 1-hour
-then I tried a charge at 1-amp. It took the charge for over 30-minutes
-waited another hour
-then I gave the battery-pack 30-minute test charges with higher and higher amps; until it took a full charge at 3.6amps - 5mv
