No air compressors. There's no kind of stations for cleaning. All cleaning is done on ur table.

People bring their own tire cleaning buckets / contraptions. There is water in the 1/10th scale pit area.

No Air compressor supplied OR allowed.

Hey Bud,

Tire cleaning, whatever you normally do at races is fine. They have bathrooms that you can grab for washing Bins.

No air compressors allowed or provided.

The small plug in jet blasters (CowRC) are fine to use.

So how was the racing and what was the dirt on the 1/10th scale track?

1/10th track was the same dirt as the motocross track, so it was a little dusty and smooth. 1/8th had 440 entries, and same dirt as before. If I go again I will run more then 1 class. There is a lot of downtime between heats with 1 class. At 1 point I was there for 15 hours w/ ten mins of track time to show for it. I'm not knocking the event just saying 2-3 classes is a must. Track had 1 big double, 1 step down and a off camber switch back type section. Some good fast racers put on a clinic and some (me) needed a clinic! Track builders built a big track in 2 days. Videos are popping up on youtube

The 1/10 track looked a lot like the same dirt as the 1/8 track and the 10th track looked like it held up very well. I had a lot of downtime since only running Ebuggy on big track and wish I would have signed up for 4w buggy on 10th side, but didn't want to take a chance of crossing paths of track time or quals.

It didn't appear to be a difficult track for the 10th, since it was new dirt I heard took it easy on the build, so maybe next year there will be more dirt for 10th to give some better jumps or elevation changes.

Now watch the 10th side will be busy next year.

the 10th scale track was similar (not exactly) dirt as the Moto track. The track crew wasn't sure how it would pack or hold up so they were very conservative in the build / layout. I ran on the 8th scale track, which was sick as usual, so I didn't get to drive the 10th scale track. My observations are by the end of the weekend the track crew had the surface figured out.

JConcepts and Proline guys seemed to have an advantage on the 10th tire wise.
8th scale it was more balanced with more privateers on AKA (my observations, not fact)
Fast guys were still fast. Slow guys were still slow (namely me ).
Tents were the topic of conversation from Thursday on.
Dust was crazy
It was 70 degrees out
I managed to not melt down until Friday evening (#TheStressWasReal)

Entries start 11/1/17.......

Key points of the last post!

Now, for the first relevant question of the year....

3 entries on the 8th side, right?
